Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rafty website and your participation in our rafting tours in the Lori Region, Armenia. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Bookings

• A booking is confirmed once we acknowledge it by email, phone, or message.
• You are responsible for providing accurate participant details, including the number and ages of those in your group.
• Prices are listed per person and may change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

2. Eligibility and minimum age

Each tour has a stated minimum age and difficulty grade. Participants must meet the minimum age and any fitness or swimming requirements for the tour they book. Minors may only participate with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

3. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel a booking that has not been paid in accordance with those terms.

4. Cancellations and changes

By you

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Cancellation conditions and any applicable refunds will be explained at the time of booking.

By us

Rafting depends on weather and river conditions. For safety reasons we may reschedule, modify, or cancel a tour. If we cancel a tour and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will offer a refund or credit for that tour.

5. Safety and conduct

• You must follow all safety instructions given by our guides at all times.
• Participants must wear the safety equipment provided, including helmets and life jackets.
• We may refuse participation, without refund, to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves unsafely, or ignores guide instructions.
• You must disclose any medical condition that may affect your ability to participate safely.

6. Assumption of risk

Whitewater rafting is an adventure activity that carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks. You may be asked to sign a separate liability waiver before your tour.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rafty is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in our tours, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Personal belongings

You are responsible for your personal belongings. We are not liable for loss of or damage to items brought on a tour.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, belongs to Rafty or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Armenian courts.
